Step 1a

If this is a new installation of Thunderbird you will be automatically presented with a set-up wizard. Select the option to 'Skip this and use my existing account'.

Step 1b

Otherwise, to add a new account to an existing installation of Thunderbird first click on the 'Create New Account' option on the home page. If you had a new installation of Thunderbird and had at some point selected the 'I think I'll configure my account later' option, you should be presented with a home screen where 'Create New Account' is the only option.

Step 2

On the next screen you'll be able to enter your Name, e-mail Address and Password. The e-Mail address and password should have been provided to you by a Plexicomm team member. If you are a new customer and have not yet requested to have an e-Mail account set up for you you can do so by contacting technical support.

Once you have entered the appropriate information click the 'Continue' button.

Step 3

Only the bottom portion of the screen will change after selecting 'Continue'. Here you will need to select the 'Manual config' option.

Step 4a

Use the following settings to set up your e-Mail using POP3 settings. Then select 'Done'.

Step 4b

Use the following settings to set up your e-Mail using IMAP settings. Then select 'Done'.

Your email should now be set-up. If you encounter any issues with your new e-Mail account you can contact technical support for assistance.
